What is up with the #browsonfleek? What exactly does this mean? If you just woke up from a long hibernation or just simply clueless as to what the millennials have been up to, fear not. We’re here to shell out the latest beauty terms and trends. Basically, brows on fleek is just another term for killer eyebrows. According to Popsugar, “Fleek — which is a variation of "flick," a word well known to makeup-lovers — is when eyebrows are perfectly groomed, filled, and shaped. In essence, "brows on point" and "brows on fleek" are the same thing.”
So now that you know, the next question is, do you know how to do brows on fleek? We know that doing your own brows can be a daunting task, especially for beginners. Which is why we took the liberty of finding a video that will show you. Don’t fret. It won’t make you feel overwhelmed. Doing your eyebrows can be an easy and fun routine. All you need are some products and practice! Jen of Chiutips has an awesome Youtube video tutorial that will show us the steps to achieve winning eyebrows.
First thing is to comb your brows with a brush or a used mascara wand. This will help tidy them prior to application of product.
Using an eyebrow pencil of your choice, create a line on the bottom of your eyebrows. Make sure you do light feathery strokes to avoid having harsh looking brows.
Now create a line above the brow. Same rule applies. Soft strokes only.
Now get your comb or old but clean mascara wand and start blending. This make take a while but keep blending until no harsh lines are seen. Your eyebrows must look natural and not as if someone drew them on.
Last step is to apply a pomade. This will help make your makeup last even when you sweat. Again, apply softy so it all blends together nicely.
Now wasn’t that easy? You can finish this off with your Bella Eleganze 3D Fiber Lash mascara. This will add another dimension of drama to your #browsonfleek look. Try mastering this technique first. Then you can upgrade to other techniques, using other formulations of eyebrow products. These will range from gel to cream to powders. Just remember to have fun and make sure your brows look natural. This will brighten the face and instantly make you look polished and yes, gorgeous! ;)
